Hello, my wonderful resin family!
It’s Ella here, the founder of ResinMoldBox. I am sitting at my desk today, looking at some of the beautiful pieces our community has made, and I just feel so much joy. Sometimes, I have to stop and think about how far we have come. When I started this company, I had a very simple dream. I wanted to find the best, most creative molds in the world and bring them together in one box for you. Today, seeing thousands of you creating art with these tools makes my heart swell with pride.
I have something very special to share with you today. Our February 2026 “Hearts in Motion” box has officially launched on One Time Purchase Product Page! It is a box that our team worked very hard to put together. We spent months looking at different designs and testing them to make sure they were perfect for you. This box is packed with love, tradition, and a few surprises that I think you will adore.

But what makes this month even more exciting is seeing what the talented Sheliah from the YouTube channel Reptiles and Resin did with these molds. She recently posted 3 incredible videos showing her creative journey with the February box. I watched every single minute, and I was so inspired that I knew I had to share her story with you. If you are looking for new ideas, or if you are just waiting for your box to arrive in the mail, let’s walk through this adventure together!
Why We Chose “Hearts in Motion”

Before we look at the beautiful art, I want to tell you a little bit about why our team chose this theme. February is, of course, the month of Valentine’s Day. We knew we wanted to include plenty of hearts because love is such a beautiful thing to celebrate.
But there is something else very special about 2026. It is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese Zodiac. A horse represents energy, strength, speed, and motion. We thought, “Why not combine the two?” So, we created “Hearts in Motion.” It’s a theme that is both romantic and full of life. We wanted a box that could help you make a sweet gift for a friend, but also something powerful to celebrate the new year.
In this box, our team carefully picked eight different molds. We wanted a mix of sizes—some small and quick projects, and some big, impressive pieces that can decorate your home for years.
The Eight Stars of the February Box:
- The Double Heart Ribbed Dish: A sweet, small tray for jewelry or keys.
- The Heart Wreath Coaster: A beautiful way to decorate a romantic dinner table.
- The 2026 Year of the Horse Commemorative Plate: A special design to honor the new year.
- The Small Spiral Ribbed Jar with Lid: Perfect for holding tiny treasures or spices.
- The Giant Diamond Weave Geometric Pot: This is the “big boss” of the box! It’s huge and very strong.
- The Hollow Butterfly Vase: An elegant, two-piece item that looks like a work of art.
- The Ocean Spiral Shell Dish: For anyone who loves the beach and the natural world.
- The Barnaby the Yak (Highland Cow) Planter: Our adorable mascot that everyone is falling in love with!

Part 1: First Impressions and Shimmering Spirals
In Sheliah’s first video on the Reptiles and Resin channel, she dived right into the box. She started with the Ocean Spiral Shell Dish and the Small Spiral Ribbed Jar.
Watching Sheliah work is very relaxing. She has a great eye for color. She started by using something called “interference powders.” If you haven’t used these before, they are very cool. They look like plain white dust in the jar, but when the light hits them, they glow with a secret color like gold, blue, or violet. Sheliah used a gold powder, and it made the shell mold look like it was a magical treasure found at the bottom of the ocean.
One thing she noticed about the Ocean Spiral Shell Dish is its beautiful shape. It isn’t just a flat plate; it has deep, swirling ridges. To bring out those ridges, she used alcohol inks to create a marble effect. A great tip she shared is not to over-mix your inks. She let the colors flow naturally into the spirals, and it looked amazing.
For the Small Spiral Jar, Sheliah showed us a very smart way to work. She used the same batch of resin she had already mixed for the Shell Dish. By adding some deep blue ink to that same batch, she created a look that was different but still matched. This is a great way to work on two molds at once! Even though it was the same resin, the jar came out looking like expensive pottery from a fancy boutique shop. It is a small item, but the “ribbed” texture on the outside catches the light so beautifully that it really stands out.
Part 2: The “Mechanical Horse” and the Amazing Yak Hack
This is where things got really creative! In her second video, Sheliah worked on the Year of the Horse Plate and the Barnaby the Yak Planter.
For the Year of the Horse Plate, Sheliah did something very clever. She took several different colors of chrome powders—like copper, blue, pink, and gold. She carefully brushed these powders into the different parts of the horse design before pouring the resin. Then, she poured in solid black resin.
When she demolded it, the result was breathtaking. It looked like a Mechanical Horse! It looked like it was made of different metals, almost like a robot from a science fiction movie. The detail on the horse mold is very fine, and the powders made every single line and muscle of the horse pop out. It is a perfect piece to celebrate 2026.
But the real “wow” moment of the entire series was the Barnaby the Yak Planter. Usually, this mold makes a cute little cow with a hole in its back for a small plant. But Sheliah had a “crazy” idea. She turned the inner part of the mold inside out!
By doing this, she didn’t leave a hole. Instead, she created a smooth, clear dome on the yak’s back. She filled that dome with beautiful dried flowers and clear resin. When she was done, it looked like the yak was carrying a tiny crystal ball or a secret garden on its back. This was a total “Yak Hack”! It reminds us that you don’t always have to use a mold exactly how it was intended. You can be the boss of your own art!
Part 3: Pink Butterflies and the Starry Night Giant
In the final video, Sheliah went for some of the biggest and most beautiful items in the box. She worked on the Hollow Butterfly Vase, the Double Heart Dish, and the massive Diamond Weave Pot.
She chose a very “Valentine’s” color style for the first two: pink and white. She used a technique called “dirty pouring.” This is when you put different colors in one cup and let them swirl together as you pour them into the mold. She also added “Fuchsia Flakes,” which are bright, shiny pink bits that look like jewels.
The Butterfly Vase is very special because it comes in two parts that you put together. Sheliah showed how it can be a vase for flowers or even a very fancy holder for pens or makeup brushes. In the pink and white marble style, it looked so elegant and soft.
Finally, she made the Giant Diamond Weave Geometric Pot. I have to tell you, this mold is a “beast”! Our team picked it because we wanted you to have something big and strong. It takes a lot of resin—about 12 ounces. Because it is so large, Sheliah decided to give it a very bold look. She used deep black resin and mixed in a lot of “chameleon” glitters. Chameleon glitter changes color from blue to purple depending on how you look at it.
When she demolded it, it was stunning. The diamond pattern on the outside of the pot made the glitter look like a million tiny stars. It looked like a Starry Night captured in a jar. It’s the perfect size for a large candle, a plant, or a place to keep your favorite craft supplies.
A Message from My Heart to Yours

⭐ Ella’s Pro Tips: Getting the Best Results
Because our team at ResinMoldBox spends so much time picking and testing these molds, I wanted to share some “Pro Tips” to help you get the best results, just like Sheliah:
- Tip 1: The Beauty of “Batch” Pouring. Just like Sheliah did with the shell and the small jar, you can mix one large batch of resin and use it for two different molds. You can even change the color slightly for the second mold! It’s a great way to keep your colors matching and save time.
- Tip 2: Brushing Your Powders. When you use chrome or mica powders, use a very soft brush. You don’t need a lot of powder to get a big effect! If you get some powder where it doesn’t belong, you can use a Q-tip with a tiny bit of alcohol to wipe it away before you pour the resin.
- Tip 3: Handling the Big Molds. For the Giant Diamond Weave Pot, remember it takes a lot of resin (about 12 ounces). If your resin gets very hot, try pouring it in two layers. Let the first layer get sticky (like tape) before you pour the second layer on top. This helps prevent bubbles!
- Tip 4: Don’t Be Afraid to Experiment. Just like the “Yak Hack,” try turning your molds inside out or adding unusual things like dried flowers or even tiny toy figures. There are no mistakes in art—only new discoveries!
- Tip 5: Care for Your Molds. After you are done, clean your molds with warm soapy water or a piece of tape to pick up leftover glitter. This keeps them perfect for your next project!
